HERBAL MASSAGE

HERBAL MASSAGE
Herbal massage is treatment using herbal, heated herbal to loosen tense muscle and warm the body
Preparation:

v  2 bag herbal
v  30 ml massage oil
v  Water heater
v  1 pcs eyes pillow
v  1 pcs breast drape
v  1 pcs small bowl
v  2 pcs sheet


PRONE POSITION
BACK
Steps:
1.      Open sarong, take 2 bag warm herbal, herbal pressure from cervical vertebrae (leher), upper trapezius, and side of vertebrae (tulang blakang) 3x
2.      Herbal pressure around scapula (memutar) 3x
3.      Herbal pressure side of vertebrae going out 3x
4.      Herbal pressure on the vertebrae 3x (gentian)
5.      Apply oil, effleurage 3x
6.      Alternating palm strocking on the left side 6 counts, 3x. repeat on the right side
7.      Palm strocking from sacrum to upper trapezius going out 3x
8.      Thumb strocking right side of vertebrae, down thumb stripping 3x. repeat to the left side
9.      Digital thumb kneading from left back 3x. repeat on the right side
10.  Effleurage 1x
11.  Pitching up on the upper trapezius 6 count, knuckle on the upper trapezius 3x
12.  Effleurage 1x
13.  Take 2 bag warm herbal, repeat step 1-4 with movement.
14.  Cover with sarong.
LEG
Steps:
1.      Open sarong, quadriceps stretch (lipat kaki), hamstring sretch start from left leg
2.      Apply oil, effleurage 3x
3.      Alternating palm strocking on the gastroc to hamstring 3x
4.      Digital thumb kneading on the gastroc to hamstring 3x
5.      Alternating thumb stocking on the tendon.( urat di pergelangan kaki) 3x
6.      Thumb friction on the popliteal 3x
7.      Thumb strocking on the hamstring inner, middle, outer 3x
8.      Alternating palm stocking on the gastroc to hamstring 3x
9.      Effleurage 3x
10.  Take 2 bags warmed herbal, herbal pressure on the sole of the foot. 3x
11.  Herbal pressure from gastroc to harmstring. 2x
12.  Repeat steps 10-11 with movement
13.  Cover leg with sarong
14.  Repeat steps 1-13 for right leg
SUPINE POSITION
LEG
Steps:
1.      Open sarong, stretch hamstring on the right leg
2.      Apply oil, effleurage 3x
3.      Alternating thumb strocking on the tarsal 3x
4.      Alternating thumb strocking on the metatarsal
5.      Pull each palanges
6.      Alternating palm strocking on the tibialis 6 counts 2x
7.      Knuckling on the tibialis 3x
8.      Thumb friction on the patella 3x
9.      Alternating palm strocking on the quadriceps 6 counts. 2x
10.  Thumb strocking on the quadriceps, inner, middle, outer 3x
11.  Alternating palm strocking on the quadriceps 6 counts 2x
12.  Effleurage 2x
13.  Take 2 bags warm herbal, herbal pressure from tibialis to quadriceps 3x
14.  Herbal pressurefrom tibialis to quadriceps with movement 3x
15.  Cover with sarong, repeat steps 1-14 for left leg
STOMACH
Steps:
1.      Take 2 bag herbal, herbal pressure 5 point
2.      Repeat with movement
HAND
Steps:


:
1.      Stretching carpal upward and downward, right hand
2.      Rotation clockwise and anticlockwise 3x
3.      Apply oil, efflurage 3x
4.      Thumb strocking on the supinator inner and outer 3x
5.      Alternating thumb strocking on the metacarpal and pull each phalanges
6.      Effleurage 3x
7.      Take 2 bagswarmed herbal, herbal pressure on the palm, supinator, pectoralis 3x
8.      Repeat step 7 with movement
9.      Cover with sarong, repeat steps 1-8 for left hand
HEAD
Steps:
1.      Head stretching upward, right side and left side
2.      CM with fingers entire head 3x
